Hel and Fenrir are figures from Norse mythology, the children of Loki. Hel is the guardian of the underworld, and is often depicted with a body half flesh, half skeleton. Fenrir, her brother, is a giant wolf, kept bound in chains by the gods until breaking free at Ragnarok.
Norse mythology is so damn cool. And I've always wanted to do something with these two characters, but never thought of anything decent. Maybe one day.
